The Sky’s the limit for Sovini Trade Supplies

A huge well done to our staff who volunteered in the Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) charity plane pull for Alder Hey.

Staff from across The Sovini Group formed a Sovini Team and pulled a Boeing 737 aircraft weighing a whopping 40 tonnes, to help raise vital funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. What a challenge!

Staff toughed it out at (LJLA) and helped raise over £2,500 for the cause, joining businesses such as Matalan, Peel Ports and Santander.

Roy Williams, The Sovini Group Chief Executive Officer who took part in the event at LJLA said:

“We are delighted to have taken part in such a great fundraiser event, well done to all involved and thank you to Liverpool John Lennon Airport for asking us to take part.”

The money raised in the plane pull will be added to more than £80,000 already raised by LJLA for the charity during the last 12 months.

Carol Dutton, Director for HR & Community at LJLA, said: “This has been an amazing effort by everyone involved. A big thank you to all the companies who gave up time to take part in this unique challenge and particularly to Blue Air for providing one of it’s aircraft.”

You can still donate, just TEXT LJLA £3 to 70070.
