Longstanding Sovini Trade Supplies customer Service Electrical Distributors Ltd have donated a brand new washing machine and tumble dryer to the volunteer-run Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre.

The Neighbourhood Centre, which has an enduring relationship with a number of the Sovini Group partners, plays an integral role within the Netherton community, providing a Stay’n’Play at their own creche, an after-school Youth Project for older children and teens and a range of different support programmes and activities for adults including Bingo, Fitness Classes, Walking Club, Coffee Morning and more.

With a kitchen operating as a fully functional cafe, an ICT suite enabling people of the community to search for jobs, create CVs, compose cover letters and look up interview skills, a meeting room that can be hired out the during the day and a youth room with a table tennis table, pool tables and other activities, the volunteer run centre serves to bring the community together as one.

Marie Sevin, Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre Manager, commented:

“We’re thankful to Marc Redfern at Service Electrical Distributors, Sovini Trade Supplies and Sovini Property Services for coming together to donate and install a brand new washing machine and tumble dryer at the Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre. It’s a really helpful addition to the centre and will of course help us with the day to running of the centre, which plays a vital role in our community. We’ve put the washer-dryer in the nursery where it will help with the children’s laundry.”

Donated by Service Electrical Distributors via their relationship with Sovini Trade Supplies and installed by our Sovini Group partners Sovini Property Services, the washer-dryer will help with the everyday running of the Neighbourhood Centre, enabling the volunteers to continue their fantastic work within the community.
