A revised traffic management plan including…

·       HGV turning circle

·       3 HGV Loading/Unloading bays

·       Dedicated HGV waiting areas

These areas have all been clearly demarked by some new line marking to ensure safety, ease of access, loading and unloading. This has helped manage the flow of different traffic on site and increased productivity by improving inbound and outbound vehicle turnaround times.

Improving our storage solutions increases our capacity to flex up our stock profile if needed at the same time as improving picking efficiencies by making all products easily accessible. This will ensure you have what you need, at the time you need it.  

Warehouse/ Yard Operational Improvements

·       Internal racking moved to maximise location space

·       Full use of journey planner implemented

·       New real-time picking process put into place

Evaluating how we operate in the warehouse and yard ensures we are working to our best potential and utilising the space in which we work.  Our journey planner helps maximise the capacity of our vehicles which is good for emissions, reducing our carbon footprint as well as optimising travel routes.
