We have donated over £400 worth of personal protective equipment (PPE) to two local care homes for use by front-life staff who are delivering essential services during the coronavirus pandemic.

Parkhaven Trust in Maghull and Care Connect in Crosby received the donations accompanied by a handwritten note saying “Not all heroes wear capes. Thank you for all of your hard work.”

Care Connect UK said: “Amazing!  We have just received a much needed free PPE donation from Sovini Trade Supplies Ltd in Aintree. From all the team at Care Connect thank you all so much! “

Operations Support Manager Scott Keouski worked with One Vision Housing’s Independent Living Manager to identify a local care home who would benefit from a donation of PPE.

Scott said: “We are delighted to be able to support key workers who are working on the frontline during this difficult time with donations of PPE. I am proud to work for an organisation who gives back to the community and looks after one other”
