Sovini Trade Supplies opens two new stores across the North West as part of their latest expansion.
The Northern based Builders Merchant who supply quality products to the UK’s building and maintenance markets identified Eccles and Ellesmere Port as its next locations to establish outlets, creating 11 new jobs.
The firm which is part of parent company The Sovini Group, has opened two new stores following a £9m deal with property services giant, Liberty Group.
The company’s growth which is partly thanks to their industry leading ‘Bistrack’ technology and reputable customer service has successfully enabled the award-winning organisation to now operate from three branches across the North West, including their original branch in Aintree, Liverpool.
The new Eccles store is located on the popular Lyntown Trading Estate, just 2.5 miles west of Manchester City Centre and situated in an enviable location of the North W
est motorway network. In Ellesmere Port, the third branch is situated on the gated Portside Industrial Estate located just 200 yards from M53. The new stores are set to enable Sovini Trade Supplies to expand their current distribution network supplying construction and maintenance products across the North.
Sovini Trade Supplies Director, Anita Harrison-Carroll, said: “I am delighted to announce the company’s recent expansion which has created local employment opportunities and scope for business development across the wider region. Our commitment is to continue providing added value; ensuring our clients benefit from enhanced productivity, visibility and financial savings.
Our current clients also gain from our corporate social responsibility pledge; which ranges from reducing our carbon footprint by introducing electric vehicles to delivering hampers at Christmas to local families in need. We are looking forward to welcoming new businesses to our supply chain as we explore more opportunities across the North West and wider.”
Sovini Trades Supplies prides itself on establishing effective working partnerships with suppliers; in 2018 the company scooped Supplier of the Year at the inaugural Northern Housing Awards and part of the winning Group, The Sovini Group, who scooped the UK’s Best Workplace 2018 (large category).
Further UK stores are planned to open in the next few years.
