North West based builders’ merchants, Sovini Trade Supplies has been appointed by M&Y Maintenance and Construction to deliver a £44m contract.

The 10-year contract will provide M&Y with a bespoke supply chain solution, incorporating an innovative approach to technology.

Sovini Trade Supplies, part of The Sovini Group, were awarded the contract following a successful procurement process.

The Builders’ Merchants who supplies quality goods to the UK’s housing sector and beyond will support M&Y’s vision to improve first time fix rates, customer satisfaction and growth; as well as community led initiatives across the North West.

Sovini Trade Supplies is an experienced supplier in the sector and understands the unique demands of housing. The proven supply chain solution will provide M&Y with core materials, van stock management and merchant services delivered through innovative digital solutions.

The contract comes after a successful financial year for Sovini Trade Supplies, having opened two new stores across the North West and secured a £9m deal with property service company, Liberty Group.
