As part of our commitment to doing social good, we have been busy contributing to DIY SOS for their ‘Big Build Veteran’s Special’.

We have donated products and supplied staff who provided labour to residents and veterans in Manchester as part of the special episodes due to be aired in October.

The project has seen Nick Knowles & co take on the urgent problems of empty homes and homeless veterans by turning a row of derelict houses into a new community for war veterans.

It will bring 25 empty homes back into use and see a total of 62 properties being refurbished, as well as developing a veteran walk-in support and advice centre.

Several Sovini Trade Supplies staff members have been lending a helping hand in refurbishing the properties on Canada Street and New Street in Newton Heath.

We are on course to complete the project this Friday (25th September), so come down and show your support if you’re in the area!
