We have been crowned the best supplier in the country at a prestigious industry awards ceremony.

Football legend Sir Geoff Hurst presented us with the Supplier of the Year award at the Builder & Engineer Awards at Anfield’s new Main Stand.

We beat off stiff competition from Jewson, Wetherby Building Systems and Garic Ltd.

Judges applauded our “excellent approach to skills and development”, “strong CSR commitment” and “commercial approach to generate surplus to re-invest” as reasons for our success.

Chris Selby, who was on the judging panel, said: “Corporate social responsibility, local involvement with the community and the employment of ex-military personnel were all stand-out features of Sovini Trade Supplies’ application and resulting in this well-deserved award. Congratulations.”

Anita Harrison-Carroll, Director of STS, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been recognised as the best supplier in the UK at such a prestigious awards ceremony.

“Our staff work incredibly hard, and our desire to do social good has been paramount in the two short years we have been trading, so it’s great to be recognised in this way.”
